1. Spraying the crop with Malathion (0.1%) or Profenofos gives good control of the larvae.
2. Intercropping mustard in the cabbage crop 15 days before sowing and 25 days after planting cabbage was efficient.
3. You can also direct a jet from the hose at more mature cabbage heads and disperse some of the flies and eggs with the stream of water.
Whether you see them or not, you can treat your plants with insecticidal soap to prevent infestation, which can be effective against more than just whiteflies.
